Past two days have been pretty uneventful. Worked, ate, worked a little more from the hotel, and went to bed. Work has been busy this week; making progress, but still struggling with resources to help out. Now I just received an IM from someone in India to help with an on-going project. I also have to try to finish up my "performance review"....could be a long night.
Anyway, yesterday my manager and I went to Larry's Golf Shop after work to see what kind of deals we could get on golf clubs. He tried to haggle on a driver, but couldn't work out a deal. I ended up getting a better deal than I thought I could on a putter. We went out for a quick bite to eat and called it a night after that. Tonight was about the same. We went out to dinner with Tina and Clif (only one "f") from the hotel at a Japanese-Italian restaurant. Not exactly a combination you would expect....it was pretty good. I had penne pasta with shrimp. That was about it!
Tomorrow night we are going out to eat with the team we are working with here in China, so that should be good. Hope everyone is doing well.
